organic glassAlthough products are very common in our lives, but many people do not understand the plexiglass, so what are the steps of plexiglass processing:
1. Monomer washing ingredients
Monomer MMA contains a small amount of inhibitor is slightly yellow, not only affect the polymerization process. and influenceorganic glassThe appearance quality of the product, we use 5NaOH solution to wash 4~5 times, until no color so far, in order to remove water, anhydrous sulfuric acid into the washed MMA monomer, fully stirred, clarified and filtered before use. Otherwise, the surface of the product will produce silver, the internal fog, affecting the transparency.
2. Preparation of prepolymer slurry
The three-necked flask was placed in a constant temperature water bath towel at 80°C and prepolymerized under stirring. Due to the exothermic reaction, it is very important to control the temperature. When the temperature of the material solution in the flask rises to about 90°C, the heating is stopped. And pay attention to the viscosity change of the slurry. When the viscosity meets the requirements (greater than the viscosity of the flat plexiglass), cool the slurry to 4O ℃ immediately, and cool it in time for use. Because the viscosity of the slurry increases rapidly with the increase of temperature, if it is not cooled in time, explosive polymerization will occur, resulting in the scrapping of the slurry.
3. Insert the mold cavity
Before casting, the inlay should be dehydrated, dried, and soaked in dioxane solution. The glass mold should be dried and impurities should be avoided to ensure the quality of handicrafts.
4. Introduce the prepared polymer slurry into the mold to complete the production
Pour half or 1/3 of the pre-polymerization liquid ((the amount of liquid is determined according to the level of inlay) into the mold, place the inlay on its surface after curing, then pour the remaining slurry into the whole mold cavity, and put it into the air drying oven at a constant temperature of 40 ℃ after vacuum pumping, exhaust treatment, sealing the upper cover of the mold, and continue curing for about 10 days to obtain satisfaction.organic glassProducts.
