What is the difference between organic glass and ordinary glass?
Plexiglass is a popular building decoration material in recent years. Some people literally understand that there is no difference between plexiglass and general glass. This view is not correct. In order to better let more people understand the professional knowledge of such products and facilitate the distinction between products, let's first understand the difference between the two:

organic glassIt is a popular building decoration material in recent years. Some people literally understand that there is no difference between organic glass and general glass. This view is not correct. In order to better let more people understand the professional knowledge of such products and facilitate the difference between products, let's first understand the difference between the two:
1. High transparency:organic glassIt is a relatively high-quality transparent polymer material at this stage, with a transmittance of more than 93%, which is higher than that of glass. Generally, glass can only pass 0.7 of ultraviolet light, but plexiglass can pass 74%.
2. Lighter weight: the density of organic glass is 1.16kg/dm3. material of the same size. Its net weight is only half of that of ordinary glass and 44% of that of metal aluminum (attributed to light metals).
3, high mechanical strength: the relative molecular mass of organic glass is about 2 million, is a long chain polymer material chemical substance, and the chain of molecules is very soft. Therefore, the compressive strength of organic glass is relatively high, and the level of tensile and impact resistance is 7 to 16 times higher than that of ordinary glass. Thus, the Rashin treatment.organic glassIt can be used as bulletproof glass and as a cockpit cover on military aircraft.
4, easy production and processing: plexiglass can not only be cut by CNC lathes, drilling machines for drilling. And can be bonded into various shapes of equipment such as acetone. It can also be processed into various products such as large aircraft canopy and small denture sets and dental braces by plastic forming methods such as injection molding, injection and extrusion.
5, the performance of the distinction: the general thickness of the glass exceeds 15cm, it will become emerald green. Moreover, it is impossible to see clearly the objects through the glass, and the plexiglass is one meter thick, so it can clearly see the objects on the opposite side. Because its light transmission performance is very good, plus ultraviolet light can also penetrate. Therefore, it is often used to make optical equipment.
