acrylic swimming poolWith its one-time molding, no seams, no pollution and other advantages, it has become the preferred choice of the major baby swimming pools on the market. Today I will take you to have a more thorough understanding of the characteristics and identification methods of this material.
The official name of the acrylic swimming pool is glass fiber reinforced plastic swimming pool (acrylic is the homonym of English ACRYLIC). Its surface material is methyl propyl methyl ester, and the reverse side is wrapped with glass fiber and coated with special resin for reinforcement. The color is uniform and the surface is smooth., No delamination, bubbles, etc. The thickness of the surface layer is generally above 3mm, and the glass fiber is firmly combined with no peeling, and the transparency is the highest in all plastics.
Features of acrylic swimming pool:
1. The color is uniform, the surface is smooth, there is no stratification, bubbles and other phenomena. The heat transfer is slow, so the heat preservation is good, and the contact surface has no "cold" feeling. Compared with cast iron or steel plate swimming pools, there is a "warm and soft" feeling that will not harm the body.
Although it is also a kind of glass, acrylic is not as "fragile" as glass, and its impact resistance is 200 times stronger than ordinary glass, and it is almost not broken. Its load-bearing capacity varies with thickness, the thicker the stronger. Acrylic has a tough side, but it also has the characteristics of flexibility. Very suitable for modeling, all angles and radians can be achieved through technology.
The special acrylic sheet has excellent surface finish, abrasion resistance equivalent to aluminum, and is not easy to scratch and clean. If it is a sharp object scratch, this scratch is easy to repair, with ordinary white toothpaste can be wiped.
The special acrylic plate also has strong corrosion resistance and light transmission. And because the pigment can be dissolved into the plate, so the color is very stable, long-term sun and rain is not easy to fade. When installing an acrylic swimming pool, the bottom should be paved with yellow sand and cement slurry. It should not be emptied or supported by only a few support points to avoid damage. In use, sharp and hard objects should be prevented from colliding with each other. When cleaning, you should use a soft cloth and detergent to wipe lightly. You can't use a scouring pad. Once you find a scrub, wipe it with a soft cloth and toothpaste to restore the luster.
The quality can be distinguished by the following methods:
Feel: high quality feel smooth, no sweat and fingerprints. The thickness is the rigid standard of acrylic bearing range, and 8~12cm is the common thickness. Uniformity: Whether the color is uniform is also one of the criteria for judging good or bad. It can also be identified from the subtle color difference and polishing effect of the plate section.
