What are the advantages of acrylic fish tank
Compared with ordinary glass fish tank, fish tank acrylic is more beautiful and safer. Using acrylic material, weather resistance is very good, especially suitable for outdoor use. The newly bought fish tank acrylic not only has a taste, but also may contain some toxic substances. If you put the fish directly, it is easy to cause the death of the fish. As for how to disinfect, the following details.

aquarium acrylicThe advantages are:
1. It has good weather resistance and acid and alkali resistance.
2. Excellent insulation performance.
3. Good light transmittance, up to 92%, required light intensity is small, power saving.
Strong impact resistance, sixteen times that of ordinary glass.
5. Long life, more than three years than other fish tanks.
6. Light weight, half lighter than ordinary glass, and the load on buildings and supports is small.
7. bright colors, is unmatched by other materials.
8. Strong plasticity, large shape changes, easy to process and form.
9. Easy to maintain, easy to clean, rain can be cleaned naturally, can also be scrubbed with soap and soft cloth.
10. Excellent weather resistance, high nominal softness and gloss, and poor low temperature performance.
Wear resistance is higher than other materials, resistance to various chemical substances from time to time corrosion.
1. Clear disinfection scope. In addition to the entire fish tank acrylic disinfection, put into the filter equipment and hanging film should also be disinfected. If there is a loophole in the disinfection work, it is equivalent to leaving a gap for the levee, which is in danger of collapsing at any time.
2. Select disinfection products. Generally, when disinfecting fish, there are two effective disinfectants, chlorine water and potassium permanganate. Both disinfectants can effectively release active oxygen, thereby killing microorganisms and bacteria in the water. However, they also have their own disinfection characteristics, and everyone can choose according to their own needs. For example, chlorine water is colorless and will not change the color of the water in the tank. And strong oxidation, high disinfection efficiency, good quality.
But because it is colorless, it is impossible to tell whether it is completely dissolved. We know that this substance also causes irritation to fish. If it is not completely decomposed, it will definitely have negative effects. The disinfection ability of potassium permanganate is weaker than that of chlorine water. When disinfection, the fish tank will turn red, but as long as the reaction is complete, the product will precipitate at the bottom of the tank. These residues will not have any impact on water quality and fish.
3. Other considerations. In addition to the disinfection of acrylic in the fish tank, the aquatic plants and other decorations in the cylinder should also be disinfected and killed before they can be put into the cylinder. In addition, before the fish into the tank to check whether there are symptoms, to avoid the phenomenon of dead fish just into the tank.
