acrylic swimming poolWhen the plate is whitened or yellowed to the naked eye after a period of time, it shows that the material is aging under the action of the outdoor environment, and its strength is rapidly lost with the aging of the material.
At this time, we must not only think that the product only has appearance problems. When the acrylic plate of the transparent swimming pool is forced to drain below the design strength, the consequences of not being able to withstand the external force and bursting will occur. This is a very dangerous sign.
The main reasons for the white and yellow acrylic swimming pool board are:
1. Photochemical reaction caused by ultraviolet radiation-long-term exposure to ultraviolet rays of sunlight will cause the destruction of acrylic molecular chains, resulting in a white surface.
2. Chlorination reaction-the chloride used in swimming pool disinfection is in contact with acrylic, which will chlorinate and make its surface yellow.
3. Vulcanization reaction-sulfur dioxide in the air and other polluting gases and acrylic vulcanization reaction, resulting in surface coloring.
4. Temperature stress-swimming pool water temperature changes fiercely, thermal expansion and contraction stress destroyed the acrylic surface structure.
5. Mechanical wear-the frequent contact friction of swimmers will also cause the surface to wear off.
Electrostatic phenomena-The generation of static electricity may also exacerbate the occurrence of the above reactions.
7. Manufacturing and installation quality problems-such as gas, internal stress, etc. will also accelerate aging.
Therefore, it is necessary to choose high-quality acrylic board, and pay attention to avoid light, temperature control, reduce friction, etc., in order to effectively prevent acrylic swimming pool board from turning white and yellow.
