Matters needing attention in the purchase of fish tank acrylic
Aquarium acrylic is a kind of high-grade aquarium products, acrylic has high transparency, light transmittance of 92%, "plastic crystal" reputation, and has good weather resistance, especially used in outdoor, ranking the crown of other plastic, and both good surface hardness and gloss, processing plasticity, acrylic can be made into a variety of shapes and products needed. Another plate of a wide range of colors (including translucent color plate), another feature of acrylic plate can still maintain high transparency, acrylic fish tank weather resistance and acid and alkali resistance.

Attention to purchase
Attention should be paid to whether there are scratches and scratches on the surface of the fish tank, whether there are nodular circular vortex, surface contraction marks, cracks, pockmarks, mildew, alkali traces, water traces, and whether there are bubbles and foreign impurities in the middle of the plate. Glass aquarium high transparency, not easy to produce scratches, pressure performance is strong, glass aquarium is made of silicone glue, glue the security depends on the thickness of the glue is uniform, whether there are bubbles in the glue.
Cleaning method
aquarium acrylicHow to clean, the usual acrylic fish tank internal filtration system includes the following components: filter cotton, biochemical cotton, glass ring (mainly including ceramic ring and biological stone) and activated carbon (ammonia absorption stone, medical stone, etc.). From these basic accessories, it can be seen that a complete filtration system is relatively complicated for sealing performance and installation performance, and the key point is that multiple cleaning is not conducive to protecting nitrifying bacteria inside the cleaning system. Because the main water quality cleaning work depends on their help to complete, we choose acrylic fish tank water quality cleaning filter material to choose high quality, relatively high price products.
Let's talk about it briefly.aquarium acrylicThe cleaning of the internal filter cotton bar. Pay attention to the frequency, try to do a clean thoroughly, to avoid multiple cleaning damage nitrifying bacteria. We usually mainly physical filtration, specifically responsible for large particles of solid residue cleaning. Therefore, the filter cotton is particularly easy to get dirty. Generally, the water exchange opportunity is used to filter the cotton and rinse it repeatedly.
Note: Do not scrub repeatedly during the flushing process, and do not use it directly. This destroys the nitrifying bacteria, resulting in loss of biological filtration.
