Acrylic sheet, also known as polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) sheet organic glass, is a special process of organic glass, acrylic sheet has a history of more than one hundred years. In recent years, acrylic sheet has also entered the interior decoration of the house. What are the advantages and disadvantages of acrylic sheet? BelowAcrylic sheet manufacturersA brief introduction for everyone.
Acrylic sheet with crystal transparency, light transmittance in more than 92%, dye dyed acrylic plate color effect is good. In addition, acrylic sheet has excellent weather resistance, high surface hardness and gloss, and good high temperature resistance. Acrylic sheet processing is good, according to the production process can be divided into casting type and extrusion type. Thermoforming (including molding, blow molding, and vacuum suction) or processing methods such as drilling, turning, cleaning, and cutting can be used. Microcomputer-controlled mechanical cutting, scraping and engraving can not only greatly improve the processing accuracy, but also produce more beautiful patterns and shapes than traditional methods. In addition, acrylic sheets can be made with special effects by laser cutting and laser engraving.
Advantages of acrylic sheet
1. Hardness
The hardness of acrylic sheet is one of the important parameters that can well reflect the production process and technology, and it is also a link of quality control. The hardness can reflect the purity of the raw material MMA, the weather resistance and high temperature resistance of the plate. Hardness can directly determine whether the plate will shrink, bend, deform during processing, and whether the surface will be chapped. Hardness is one of the hard indicators to judge the quality of acrylic sheet. Imported cast acrylic plate is the current domestic similar products in the hardness index is relatively high, the average Dallo hardness of about 89 degrees.
2. Thickness tolerance
In other words, the thickness of acrylic sheet thickness tolerance, the control of this tolerance is an important manifestation of quality management and production process. The thickness tolerance of imported cast acrylic plate should be controlled within 0.2mm.
3. Weather resistance
The adaptability of Yake plate is very good, and it is very adaptable to the natural environment. Even if it is exposed to the sun, wind and rain for a long time, its performance will not change, and it has good anti-aging performance and can be used outdoors with peace of mind.
4. Transparency
Strict selection of raw materials, advanced formula follow-up and modern production process, to ensure the excellent transparency and pure whiteness of the plate. The flame is crystal clear after polishing.
